Sunday Service:

Sundays

11:00 am to 12:00pm

Worship is the center of our Church. Each Sunday we come together with friends and neighbors to hear a message of “Hope & Joy,” to sing, to pray and to fellowship.

After our pastor has a special children’s sermon, our children are released to attend Children’s church.

On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate the sacrament of Communion. Communion is also served on important days on the Church calendar.

Our congregation is known for our welcoming spirit in the heart of Downtown Albany. All are welcome to join us.

  • What should I wear?
We are a diverse church body. Many wear their Sunday Best while others dress very casual. Diverse styles are represented in our community worship service.
  • Where should I park?
We have many parking options available including our own church parking lot. To access the church parking lot simply drive through the breezeway located on N Jackson Street. In addition there is ample street parking on both N Jackson Street and Flint Avenue and an overflow lot across the street next to the Albany Area Arts Council.
  • When should I arrive?
The service starts at 11:00am. It's best to arrive a few minutes early to be greeted and given a church bulletin to guide you through the service. Children are welcome in the service, but a nursery is also available. If you would like to utilize our nursery, please arrive a few minutes earlier. Our nursery is located across the breezeway in the Church Education Building. Please escort your young children and sign in with our volunteers.
  • What options are available for children during the service?
Children of all ages are welcome to stay in the sanctuary and worship with their families. However, we also offer nursery and children's church options. Early on in the service we have a children's message in which all children are invited up to the front. Feel free to send your child or accompany them during this time. After the children's message, children (infants to 3rd grade) are escorted across the breezeway to the Church Education Building. Infants to 3-years-old go to the nursery and pre-K to 3rd grade go to Children's Church. If this is your child's first time, please accompany them so that we can get them signed in and set up with our vollunteers. After the service please pick your child up from the Church Education Building. However, for communion, baptism, or post-service fellowship we will escort your children back to the sanctuary so that they can participate in those activities.
  • Do we need to be members before we can participate in ministries?
Absolutely not! Anyone is welcome to participate in our programs.
  • How do I become a member?
We are so excited to have you! This process begins by speaking with our pastor. From there, he can direct you through the process of joining our church family.
